Museums Overview

In the 1980s, I assumed broad responsibility for architectural programming and client representation in capital planning for a division of the Getty Trust in Los Angeles. Building on this experience in the 1990s, I took on the turnaround of a  $10 million capital project at the Denver Art Museum. Although over-runs were projected at over 100%, I re-launched the design process, raised an additional $1 million, and completed the project on time and under budget.

I’ve worked both in museum consulting and in for-profit management consulting. Joining Hal Fischer Associates of San Francisco, I’ve  provided select consulting services, including curatorial, fundraising and museum planning projects in California, Washington, D.C., Seattle and Toronto.
